Hmmm.... I am disappointed in the author. He should be crying and complaining like a little Georgian girl errr... a proud dzhigit, i.e. a loser about the betrayal of NATO and how Georgia, the cradle of the civilization, deserves to be in NATO, etc. Gotta try harder, doc. :)
As far as the number of troops, I have been saying a while that Georgian army should be reduced to 11,000 or so. Sounds like the defense minister talks about 12,000. Kudos.

There are no "dzhigits" in Georgia. You sound a bit confused, my friend. There are also no "batyrs", "kunaks", "aksakals" and "sexauls" in Georgia. All sorts of "jighits", both proud and humble ones, live in other countries. You may check Moscow, for example, if you are looking for them.
