If anyone is looking for music suggestions, I've listened to some pretty good stuff the last few days. Yesterday I bought Daniel Johnston's "Songs of Pain" and "More Songs of Pain" as well as the slick new Nick Cave b-sides and rarities box set and I also just recently got around to hearing some CDs I got quite a while ago. I put on a Lou Reed album, "Magic & Loss" I got in the budget bin for $4, and since Lou Reed is pretty much hit or miss I was bracing myself for something terrible. As it turns out, it's one of the better ones. Some of his more obscure stuff really sucks, so I'm pleased that an impulse buy turned out so well. Not so, "The Raven", which couldn't be saved even by Willem Defoe and Steve Buscemi singing showtunes.
