It's a beautiful 48-degree drizzly day. Last week was quite beautiful, though - we just have to pay for it on the weekend.
My comp is dead, officially dead, Jim. Hard drive has turned its last. So it'll be a couple of months, I expect, before I can either get a new (used) one or find a new HD for the old one. I'd rather get a newer one anyway, 'cause the old one was not Wifi capable. And dialup just suuucks :/
So this means less of me around the Guild, of course I'll stop in maybe once or twice a week for short visits. Good thing I didn't sign up for any art exchanges this month - wouldn't be able to finish them, I don't think.
Actually I was getting a little bit bored with the internet anyway - maybe I have been spending a little too much time on there anyway lately. Right now I'm in a financial hole with no real end in sight. My friends keep getting these cool jobs and they seem to be doing all right. Damn, I don't know how they do it, just B.S. their way into a nice cush job like that. I work my ass off, and can barely afford to eat.
The bird migration has still been slow, with very few of the neotropicals arriving here yet, aside from the swallows which are nesting all over the buildings out at work. I did see an adult Bald Eagle at work a couple weeks ago - rumor has it there's a pair nesting near the Clackamas River a couple of miles away.
Going to a friend's place in Portland later on to drink some cofee and get stoned. Why the hell not? There isn't much else to do, except go quietly crazy. I need to make more money, bottom line.
