Inconvenient

Читать бумажные книги очень неудобно. В темноте текста не видно, лежа приходится держать книгу двумя руками. Да еще и перелистывать приходится.

Но, если вдуматься, как же абсурдно звучит фраза про "неудобные бумажные книги".
Reading is one of the greatest passions I have in life, and in order to do that, I must be in a good state of mind .
I started when I was a child with history books and comics .
Books were a sort of prehistoric internet, the only way to fly with fantasy .
Then I went to school and so books represented a job .
I rarely read out of school assignements .
Mostly I enjoyed magazines .
I used to read some fiction in summer .
Later I went to university, and despite being overwhelmed by study, I started reading more but on different subjects .
It was a way to escape from routine .
Being my major in pharmacy, and not being fully convinced about the choice, I read about completely different issues, politics, history, poetry , that is everything which was forbidden to me .
Then I started to become interested in Islam .
Of course I learned a lot through internet, and mostly articles, but every time I went abroad, I bought books on Islam .
Later I moved to Oman .
There the only books available are on fiction and poetry .
I became addicted to reading, as when it is 50 degrees, only thing you can do is going to a mall for shopping or stay at home on PC .
Will never forget the hours spent on the beach with my books .
Now I am quite troubled so I cannot find the correct concentration to read .

Вы разве не читаете тексты в ЖЖ с компьютера? или Вы сначала распечатываете свою френд-ленту? :))
I find funny Timur because we never agree on a topic, but exactly for that reason he is my main source of inspiration .
If we talk books, we talk about printed words, but with a meaning !
I tried to read Tolstoy and Sheikh al Arefe on computer, but couldn't go beyond few chapters .
Where is the poetry ?
A book is not just a line of printed words , it is a carpet with wings that makes me fly .
So I can't read it on a tablet with one hand !!!
I must hold and feel the paper in my hands, the words flowing in my veins .
In Oman it was a shock to find mainly paperbacks and not hardcover .But in the end I got used to it .
Now asking me to transfer a dream inside a machine, holding it with one hand only, that is too much .
Drama .
