I would rather say that there is a lot of ignorance and wrong perception on some issues and many misconceptions, and faults are on both sides .
Non Muslims are not interested and we are not able to address topics properly .
While going through comments on Timur Aliyev blog yesterday, I realized that most of the hatred expressed there, could be cut simply explaining some basic mechanisms of our practices, like the role of women and how we honour them, or the meaning of worship for us and the part each one of us plays in the society .
Europe should seriously acknowledge that Islam is part of its heritage and Muslims nowadays are a reality , so our culture is their culture .
On our side we should finally shape our differences and work more on ijtihad .
