My movie date cancelled on me today. I'm not particularly surprised. Actually, I figured there was a fifty-fifty chance of this happening.
You know that friend you have that you've known for like FOREVER, and probably the only reason you still hang out together is because of all the history you have together... even though they're constantly disappointing you to the point where your expectations of the relationship become so low that you can no longer BE disappointed? This is the one.
If I were really DYING to see the movie RIGHT NOW, I'd scrounge up someone else to drag along. But I'm not dying to see it. In fact, chances are by next week -- which is when we've rescheduled for -- I'll have completely lost interest.
Ah well. I guess it's table hockey tournament instead!
