Haha, this hasn't been updated in a while. I've been super busy with everything and haven't had time to draw, or post to the internet in general. I haven't even had any Vocaloo lyrics to post, though I am working on fine-tuning a few arrangements.
So, what have I been doing?
-I've gotten a few wig styling commissions! I got one done, and pics will be posted as soon as the costume is no longer a surprise. I'm pretty proud of it, and I learned that wire is an amazing tool.
-I have a job, and since it's summer, I have plenty more hours. Yay more money, yay less free time.
-I have to finish two costumes in two weeks, even though I promised myself I wouldn't procrastinate again. Way to go, Balni.
-I've actually been spending time with my friends outside of the Internet. My friend Billy from high school moved in down the street, so i've been hanging out at his place and playing Rock Band. We both wish that Frank Zappa was included. Also I am Lego Freddie Mercury.
-I've started exercising in the mornings! It's mostly learning dances and stuff (Butterfly on your Right Shoulder, uhuhu), but i've been doing crunches because I want abs damnit in case I ever DO get to that Luke cosplay...
-Scary as it might sound, I've actually started watching some anime again. First and foremost, Fate/Stay Night, because HNNNGHDSKJFGHDSK SABER IS ADORABLE and it's the first series in a while that has caught my eye. And last night my friend showed me the first episode of Sengoku Basara (damnit you know who you are )and that's like... Gurren Lagann + Samurais and it's ridiculously Bromantic and I can't get enough of Yukimura getting punched in the face. So. Yep. Also I watched the Tales of Phantasia OVA and goobed over Chester and Klarth a little bit. Uhuehuehuehue.
In other artwise news, i've had another friend talk to me about starting a webcomic, so something might come out of that. Also, my Illustration class starts up this coming semester! I'm so excited! And I have the class with the lovely Aimee, and my advisor teaches it, so it's going to be SO FUCKING SWEET. Also, I might find a way to take pictures/scan my work from my summer art class, so expect some not-as-animu stuff too.
