Writer's Block: Doctor Who?

I don't want David Tennant to leave. I really, really don't. But I suppose, if he has to leave, I would want someone completely different from him to be the next Doctor. That would make it harder for me to judge the new Doctor too harshly, I think. Maybe if I see him as a different person (you know, in a way) then I won't be all "OMG HE IS NOT AS GOOD AS DAVID!!" and I'll be able to focus more on Steven Moffat's amazing writing. Because they really do have a great writer taking over, if nothing else.

...Or, shorter answer, Stephen Colbert. Who wouldn't watch that?
