Furlough'd
Just got the memo: everyone at work is to undergo a one-week furlough before the end of March.
Basically, I'm going to be unemployed for a week. They want us to do it by the end of the first quarter so, I imagine, they can do this to us again next quarter.
"Don't worry!" they say. "The auto industry does this all the time!"
I'm really starting to think about jumping off this sinking ship.
