I'm not sure yet about including Animal Treasure Island. His main role was of key animator, and as I said previously, there are just way too many projects early in his career where he had roles like that. But with this movie, apparently his creative decision-making began to come forward and he helped formulate some ideas that would be incorporated into the final film. It is out in America, so finding a copy of it isn't an issue.
The toughest thing right now is finding those two Lupin series 2 episodes. Streamline released these (dubbed) on VHS years ago and are now naturally out of print. Otherwise, I'm unaware of it being available anywhere else, fansubs included.
I'm currently researching Miyazaki's involvement with the Ghiblies cartoons, if he even had any. Same with the impossible-to-find Ghibli Museum shorts.
