Weekend Excitement?
So, it's rapidly approaching the end of the summer. A lot of kids at the youth center have been understandably disappointed about going back to school, but they have been quite hyper about their family trips, even the weekend-long ones. Lacking kids, and having lived in Hawaii for my entire childhood as the youngest of five, family trips never seemed that exciting to me. Where do you take your kids, or would if you had any? Where did you go for weekend trips as a kid?
