Thanks to wondrous blythe025, whose post about it reminded me of it, I wanted to say:
Machine of Death 2 is still accepting submissions until 15 July 2011! Here's what I wrote about it last time: "1) You will have the Power of the Internet ensuring it's a hit (to some degree; MOD1 was an Amazon #1 Bestseller for a day). 2) $200 USD payment is pretty reasonable. 3) MOD1 made Glenn Beck mad." Also, MOD1 is available for free download (check the Get the Book button on the site) if you want to check what they've already published.
I know the cut-off date is close, but I also know that a good number of y'all are writers (casually or seriously, already published or hoping to be) and I think MOD is a fun idea as well as a great opportunity. I hope inspiration strikes for one, some or all of you.
