Barbara's bouncing excitement is a visual representation of my reaction to this clip. It's such a shame these episodes will be only a couple minutes long each!

You haven't been enjoying S2?

Not especially. Too many stereotypes, repeat storylines, slapstick comedy, and the Derpy/Ditzy controversy really pissed me off.

Looking over eps that have already aired, I guess I whole-heartedly liked fewer eps this season than I did last season (unless the final six of S2 are each beyond amazing, and I have high hopes for the finale). S2 hasn't been a total bust, at least for me - my favorite pony (Rarity) got the strongest (IMO) episodes of the season (Sweet & Elite, Sisterhooves Social), and it's made me appreciate Applejack more.

And the controversy... ugh. Especially the fallout when the scene was revised!

It hasn't been a total bust, but I feel like without Lauren there there's been way more brony pandering. She made the show for little girls and wasn't interested in the brony culture, but now that she's gone it's gotten weird.

I love Rarity and Applejack this season, and PINKIE WITH BBS ZOMG. Otherwise, meh.
