end of the semester update
well... a lot of exciting stuff has happened this semester.
1. brandon and i celebrated our 6 month anniversary yesterday =] i can't believe its been that long. i feel like i've known him my entire life, but at the same time, everything is new and exciting. i still get butterflies!
2. dr. grissom's nasty, wrinkled 60-year-old ass sexually harrassed me. during an honors thesis presentation, he was taking pictures with his digital camera (trying to be discreet) under my table towards between my legs. i reported him to the school, and they are doing an investigation. i had 3 witnesses other than myself, so... he is no longer allowed to use his camera at any school event, or even have it on campus, and hopefully this investigation will bring around some other form of punishment, as well. he is such a pervert, i cannot believe he did that!
3. softball is over... i had 6 homeruns this season, and completely sucked ass. my batting average ended up being .234, but for being the 4th lowest on the team... i still had the 2nd highest slugging % at around .500.
4. barb and i are rooming together in nash next semester =] yaaaaaaay for coed dorms without nasty bitchy racist ghetto RAs!
5. i haven't seen my parents or my brother since the very beginning of january. mom and dad are coming tomorrow to pick me up, and i don't get to see my brother until saturday. i'm really excited about going home, cause mom and dad bought a house while i've been here this semester and i get to organize all my belongings into my new room (that i'll only be living in for the summer, cause i'm moving into an apartment in the spring with barb, and that is me moving out... i don't think my parents necessarily think that i'm serious about that, but i most certainly am! so... that'll be me moving out).
well that's pretty much an update on life. i'm gonna miss all my friends, and all of brandon's, because several of them aren't coming back to Wesleyan next semester, which makes me sad. wtf. but i mean, there's nothing i can really do about that. if they don't want to go here, or if they can/want to go elsewhere then its up to them... but i will definitely miss them. when i get home i've got all sorts of stuff i have to buy. i'm in the market for a nikon d40 or d40x camera... can't wait to get that! aaaaaaaaaaaand then i'm going to florida at the end of june (hopefully taking brandon with me, if his health holds up) to visit all my old friends and do all the things i really enjoyed doing down there... beach, canoing down the estero river, walking the boardwalk at corkscrew swamp sanctuary... i really want to do all this stuff with brandon so i really hope he is healthy at that point in time.
and i can't wait to get home and FIIIIIIISH! and get dad to make his amazing spaghetti and mom to make her awesome clam chowder (aka potato and bacon soup with a slight clam flavor... i swear she literally puts a POUND OF BACON in that crap! but its GOOOOOOOOOOOOD!)
