Friday the 13th
Guy update...I had a lunch date today :-) Dave & Buster's...good food, good guy. It was the first time we'd actually gone "out". He lives kinda far, so before today, I'd just gone over to his house to hang out.
Job update...applied for a media relations internship with the Royals! Haha, yeah, I know. It would be fun to deal with the same players I knew last year though...it's always nice to be familiar with stats. God, I'm a nerd! The head guy, Aaron, said they'd be accepting resumes for the next week or two, then calling for interviews. He also sent an email letting me know it was an internship, then asking if I was still interested, so I have a good feeling about it. I also applied to be a data transcriber for the IRS a while back. This week I took a typing test and passed, then went through processing. I'll find out in the next week or so if I'll get to do it. It would be decent money and easy work.
Movie reviews..."Van Wilder" was actually really funny. I hate Tara Reid even more now than I did before and she's wretched in the movie, but aside from her, I liked it. "Out Cold" was funny but cheesy. Lots of cool snowboarding scenes, but a little gross humor. Some funny lines though. "Blade Trinity" wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. It was still a little scary though...some violent scenes, but not too bad since vampires turn into ash when they're killed. I laughed more than I think I was supposed to, but oh well :-) "Blade II" is on tv tonight, so I'm gonna watch it. You're supposed to watch them in reverse order, right??
Okay, back to the room cleaning. I'm going to the Horns-Villanova game tomorrow...a 3-8 matchup...SWEET.
P.S. Haven't written since the Rose Bowl....HOOK EM HORNS!!!! A lot more people care about this one which makes it fun, but the baseball championship in 2002 will always be more special to me...but it's still AWESOME :-)
