Year-end review
My Top 10 Events of 2005:
1. Lived in WICHITA, KANSAS for 8 months/lived somewhere other than Texas for the first time since I was two years old
2. Created the greatest game notes EVER, which I would totally marry b/c they are so sexy and brilliant
3. Completed the buddy trifecta...sorta...LOL
4. Slept with one guy who was 5 years younger than me and one guy who was 7 years older than me all in the same summer
5. Went on two dates with the same guy
6. Lived with two guys named Alden and Hovik for six months
7. Finished the World Beer Tour (and two mini-tours) in four months and will live forever on the Wall of Foam at the Old Chicago in East Wichita (110 different beers!)
8. Went to ballgames in Wichita, Tulsa, Little Rock, Springfield, Frisco, San Antonio, Round Rock, Kansas City, and St. Louis
9. Survived the NBC World Series...85 games in 15 days...wrote stories for every game as well as stories for all the Wrangler games during that time...picked up trash in the parking lot at 5 in the morning...worked the night shift 3 or 5 pm til 5 or 7 or 9 am...watched the sun rise while sitting on the huge scoreboard
10. Joined myspace and reconnected with several old friends

Biggest disappointment: the job fair in Dallas
What made me sad: Found a guy I wanted to date but he wanted to date someone else instead; the complete lack of friends I made in Wichita
What made me happy: playing pool and drinking with Alden on many nights; a few nights at the La Quinta ;-); the KC rovers; the coaches and players who were both funny and nice; hanging out with my broadcaster buddies; seeing all of my friends at some point during the year
