work today was surprisingly perfect.
not because of work itself..
it's weird how things happen.
i wasn't supposed to work until 5..
but my manager called me and asked me to come in at 4.
if i hadn't come in at 4..this never would have happened.
...so i used to work with this guy, ryan at dial america.
only for a few days, because i quit that job so fast.
but yeah..him and i had talked a lot, and he had asked me to go get ice cream with him...
this was about 6 months ago.
but it never happened because i ended up quitting, and we didn't have each other's numbers or anything.
bummer.
but tonight...
i'm working, and there's this gorgeous guy standing in my line. and he's looking at me and smiling. he looked familiar, but i couldn't place him. so he gets up to the front and goes "kristin dakake". and i was shocked. i was like how'd you know my name, and he told me we worked together at dial american, and it all came back to me. but we were really busy at the moment, so he went into his movie. after his movie i was on pick and mix and there were no customers so he came over and talked to me. he asked me out..so yeah..we're hanging out tomorrow i think. i gotta call him. another thing that was really cool was before he left he said it was really weird that he saw me cuz he was thinking about me the other day, and i mentioned that i read a book about coincidences like that. the celestine prophecy, a book that noone i know has read, and he has read it, and i think he thought that was really cool too because he gave me this smile. i dunno. it just made my night. amanda was next to me laughing at me. i couldn't stop smiling all night, drew and amanda kept laughing at me.
so yeah..i'm happy about this.
don't wanna psych myself up too much..
but yeah..i can't wait for tomorrow.
