I agree with Mish when she said...where the hell did summer go? But it was a memorable one and thats all I can ask for.
I think I'm ready to get back to school. Get back into some kind of routine. As geeky as it sounds, I think I'm actually excited to start back. I've become digustingly lazy since the beginning of august when my second summer class finished... and that needs to change.....
Speaking of change a lot of things will be new and changing for me in the upcoming semester. This always makes me a little aprehensive...but to be honest I'm excited. In just 6 DAYS i will be finished with panera!!! I'll miss the people, bc although i never admit it, sometimes we have a good time there. It's amazing that I'm finally getting the hell outta there though, enough is enough.
I'm currently in search of a new job, obviously since I'm leaving panera. Im still thinking of the same options I had thought of in the beginning of the summer. So once I know my full school schedule, I will know better what my work schedule is going to be like. I gotta save money for next summer's vacation!
And the biggest exciting/ nerve racking thing coming up is starting student observing. I mean it I know it doesn't sound like much, but I will be placed in a nursery or pre-k classroom for 50 hrs and in a special ed classroom for 20 hrs. But this is the start of my future career. The building blocks in essence. It's crazy to even think that I'm at this point in my life already. I mean Missy is graduating in May. It's quite the reality check. Time is flying by and I feel like if I blink I'm going to miss something.
So this week consists of tons of errands, some shopping, final goodbyes to Mish and Diane :( and getting a new job.
This semester is going to be a challenge with a new job, 16 credits, and observing. But like i said before I'm kinda excited.
oh btw....gas is down to $2.89 this is seriosuly a miracle for college commuters :)hehe
