I love how life likes to throw you major dips in the road when everything seems to be going good. Like today I am all excited about our Moulin Rouge Casino Party this weekend and I just got all the final touches for my costume, then my dad calls and tells me my granny got in a car wreck today and is in the hospital with a shattered ankle, broken hip and vertebrae. Then he tells me she is in emergency surgery tonight for the ankle but that is only the beginning of her problems and an old person with only a broken hip has a 40-60 percent survival rate. talk about a major pothole right there. Then I go to our college council meeting where one of the RUPD officers starts giving us statistics about car crashes and death in Texas which really helped to raise my mood. I really just want to cry right now, but I almost feel it will be pointless because she can make it and I need to be hopefull not pessimistic. Anyway everyone please pray for my grandmother.
