No wonder so many people die early these days. It's all about techno stress. If today
Joan was fighting with her computer because of its slowness, I was contending with our telephone line.
For some reason our phone line loses its dial-tone when all the phones are hooked up to it. I take all of the lines away and the phone works- the one that's directly hooked to the line and doesn't need a re-director or whatever. Even my own phone line, the one connected to my computer, makes the dial-tone go away. The one in the kitchen works when hooked-up for a few seconds then it goes on busy tone. What the hell? Now I'm forced to bring my lap top to the mom's office just to internet which totally defeats the purpose of having a lap top in your room! I can't even transfer my files from Mutant since apparently I can't use the net from my room.
Now I'm stomping all over the house (yes at 10:30 pm) yelling and is just generally stressed. I have no idea how long this will take and how I can transfer my files to the lap top if this becomes permanent. There is absolutely no way I'm going to happy with this situation. It's hard enough being dial-up, now I have to be at the mercy of the telphone too. I knew it. It's time to DSL. I don't care whatever the kuya says, we're getting DSL now.
PLDT will definitely hear from me tomorrow. They'll have to fix this. It didn't use to be this way. Everything used to work perfectly. I shake my fist at you PLDT!
