Just Another Week in the Life and Times of Me
My week has been a mix of eventful and the uneventful. Hah! So what else is new?
Tuesday was Lingua Franca's App's Night. A success I might add. So fun, and so different from UPJC's App's Night and even DebSoc's last year. I don't know, maybe its because I am actually on time for this one, we had a presentation ready (which we could have had for DebSoc, but well... things and lack of time) or that it was a smaller group of people, I don't know. Whatever it is, it made the night fun.
Plus, I wore my Cebu bohemian skirt which prompted a lot of people ask why I suddenly like those kinds of clothes. To which I answered, "The hell you care, it's pretty!" Hehehehehehe... Gah, I can be such a bitch sometimes.
ACLE was yesterday. I don't normally attend ACLEs because there's a lot to choose from and I'd rather not make a choice of going to one. So instead I go and wait for the mom's ACLE to finish and have merienda with her. But hey, first time for everything right? So yesterday I only had one class since even my PE prof said that we had a free day to watch the UP-ADMU game.
Good thing that I didn't. UP lost again, not sure by how much. My gulay! They were on a streak! Does this mean the Maroon's season is ending? Have they not felt the urgency of some us to see our school advance to the final four?!?!?!
The family bought a new refigirator this week too. The dad got it in HMR that second-hand store in Ortigas. The ref is hardly used so technically it is new. It has a water dispenser thingy built in. Two doors and automatic temperature resetting echchos.
Why am I raving? For the past 19 years of my life, the only ref I knew was our old one. It was the old ref of my aunt that the parents bought when they got married. That ref is older than the kuya. In fact, that ref is older than our house! It is a testament of how long quality made stuff lasts. 30 years. Man, most marriages don't even last that long. Oops, wrong analogy, completely forgetting the human factor. Whatever.
What is the point of this entry? La lang. I'm bored, I don't want to study anymore and I have nothing to look at in the internet either. Gads! I need help. Or a boyfriend, whichever.
