You know what's fucking annoying?
When your World Cup team has a well known weakness and still they do nothing to change it.
England what the actual fuck? You've had lax defense for a pretty long time now. I saw it in the US v. England game and it bit you in the fucking ass today. A little defense would have probably prevented the 4th and maybe even the 3rd goal from Germany.
But fuck it, English football players are big stars, they'll play more games and shit.
On the other hand, I'm glad to see Germany playing to its best again. I said on twitter and Facebook recently that I just don't understand what the vuvuzela is going on with footie bigwigs like England, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. They were conceding easy goals and generally not playing like the teams I know they are. Well France and Italy are out now so whatever.
At least Germany once again played amazingly. More cohesive, actually defending their side, actively looking for holes in the other side's defense.
Also, why can't FIFA just suck it up and use official video playback technology? It'll save the Frank Lampard's of the world who had a goal that went across the line and have it count. It'll also lessen the number of fakers writhing on the ground asking for a card to be drawn (and no more of that straight reds against Australia).
Ugh but fuck it. I have a lot of feelings okay. And I hate that it was the defense that really caused problems.
So let's go Spain and Brazil. Let's prove the pundits right.
