I'd like to thank the Academy...
So the Oscars telecast didn't start until I had left the house. And the cable in CBCP is gone. So I had to keep refreshing Yahoo and Eonline, and for that boo.
Anyway, confession. I have not seen Slumdog Millionaire yet. I do have the DVD and plan to watch soon, hopefully sometime tonight. I'm sure it's amazing but I just haven't had the time.
Actually I really haven't seen much of the Oscar movies this year. Mainly because I turned down the opportunity to watch the preems for a lot of the movies because so many were depressing. It really reminded me of CL 135 when there were three months straight where all we read were holcaust/aftermath of war themed books. Plus that Jelinek book which was just really really depressing, even though it involved kink.
If I ever win an Oscar, I'd totally do my whole speech in Filipino. Of course my Filipino isn't perfect, so watch me Taglish my way into history.
