(no subject)
Hey remember when I used to write on this thing regularly? I'm still alive, doing my third show of the year, rapidly trying to get scene shop hours in... I've been learning a lot about myself lately. That's all I really wanted to say, besides putting up this quote which has seriously changed my life:

There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
-I looked it up and a website said it's from a speech by Nelson Mandela, but I kind of don't think it is...
This quote made me so happy that I'm doing what I do.
