Playing with colors

Reused a sketch from late last year to test my coloring.
Inspired by... the painting class that I'm currently taking. 83;
We haven't started painting colored things yet... right now, we're painting white objects on a white background. xD; But that process opened my eyes so much, I honestly felt like I was blind up until then. There are sooooooooo many colors!!! *_________* So... the image shows how I currently feel color-wise? xD; I could be walking through another dull, gray and cloudy day, but right now, even such days appear so colorful to me.
I used to HATE colors. Because I never understood how they work and they always frustrated me.
I still don't understand how they work. They still frustrate me. But it makes me so happy that I can see all these colors everywhere. I love playing around with them now, even though they may result in a color explosion like this test image. xD; But that's how I learn~
I am so jealous of all you art students out there. This experience is incredible. I wish I could have taken more classes to learn these kinds of things before. T_T
