1) Compared to this time last year, are you:

i. happier or sadder?
really quite hard to say. Sadder about some things, happier about others. Maybe a bit happier overall.

ii. thinner or fatter?
thinner, I think. I keep forgetting to eat. Ha.

iii. richer or poorer?
poorer. I have no money at all.

2) What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
haha. peed in a closed mall? Turned down guys... I don't think I've done that much in the past. Certainly I did it more this year than any. Got hurt quite close enough to breaking my heart. Walked across the Brooklyn bridge, watched the sunrise from battery park, had sex in a hotel... lots of things, actually. I think I believe in myself as an artist more than ever right now.

3) Did you keep last year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't remember what they were last year. Oh! I think it was to force myself to be more social. I think I did follow through on that, in an unexpected way... I'll probably make another, yes. Though I have no idea what it will be.

4) Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.

5) Did anyone close to you die?
No.

6) What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
To feel less lonely in New York City, I mean, to have a group of friends here. A consistent one. Also, perhaps stability and faith in my relationship.

7) What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
So far, months are etched on my memory. Early February and early June will never leave me. But I predict that December 19th will be an important date.

8) What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I've been very proud of most of the work I've done this semester, but I'll say my COW project, and the play I wrote with my mom.

9) What was your biggest failure?
Not being able to get unstuck in certain situations.

10) Did you suffer illness or injury?
Not really.

11) What was the best thing you bought?
I didn't buy much. Though I did receive Season 8 of the X-Files. Do like that. :)

12) Whose behavior merited celebration?
Pip has been an amazing friend to me. My family has been pretty great too.

13) Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Haha. Read back in my livejournal and you'll see.

14) Where did most of your money go?
Food and transportation. Just keeping myself alive. That's the way it should be.

15) What did you get really, really, really excited about?
My COW piece. My play with my mom. Doing Atlantic this summer. I'm really excited to go to Spain.

16) What song will always remind you of 2005?
Ack, I'll have to think more about that one. Oh, I know! "Rebel Rebel" by Bowie.

17) How many different states did you travel to this year?
IL, NY, MD, MI... four.

18) What was your favorite film of this year?
I've seen SO FEW MOVIES!!! I don't know. I can't think.

19) What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was 20. I saw Tori Amos live with Andrew in Chicago.

20) What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
I'm not going to answer this one.

21) How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
Comfortable and fun. Those are my priorities.

Lindsay Lohan. God I love her.

23) What political issue stirred you the most?
Good lord! Hurricane Katrina and the Tsunami.

24) Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Yes. :)

25) Who did you miss?
Andrew.

26) Who was the best new person you met?
Pip.

27) Did you fall in love in 2005?
No.

28) Did you make any new friends?
Again, Pip! Christ.

29) What was your favorite month of 2005?
I don't know, I've had a pretty terrible year now that I look back on it. Maybe actually December. But I'll say July and August weren't that horrible.

30) Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year?
Peed in a closed mall.

31) What was your proudest moment?
After my COW piece OR when I heard my play is being produced.

32) What was your most embarrassing moment?
At this moment I can't think of anything that bad. I do stupid things all the time, but I usually don't get too embarassed.

33) If you could go back in time to any moment of '05 and change something, what would it be?
It'd be nice if I had been accepted into ONE of the other studios. I would've liked to not be rejected all across the board...

34) How many people that you know have either been engaged or married this year?
None.

35) Were you a bridsemaid or groomsman?
No.

36) Did you have any vices in '05?
Yup. Alcohol, blaming myself and purposefully getting myself into bad situations.

37) Was 2005 a good year for you?
I guess it really wasn't.

38) What are your plans for 2006?
Fucking SPAIN bitch!!! I actually, to be quite honest, have never had so little of an idea as to what is happenning in my future.

39) Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005:
Never stop fighting for your own happiness. You deserve to be happy.

40) Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
I'll have to come back to that one too.
