Law school
Hello everyone,
I want to let you know that there's a 99% chance that I won't be coming back to Queen's next year because a few hours ago, I just found out that I got accepted to law school in HK. I am flying to HK on Friday night, and it is 1:34AM on Thursday night right now, so I doubt that I'll be able to see many of you before I go. I will let you guys know once I know if I really won't be coming back next year.
As much as I wish that I could say that I will be able to keep in touch with all of you, or see all of you again, I know that I may not be able to. Life has funny ways of forcing people to realize how quickly things can change in one instant. I also wish that I could tell you that nothing will change between us, but we both know that things will be different between us after I leave. Difference is not necessarily bad, I'm well aware of that - but I wish that things could stay just the way they are right now, me waking up to Yas's music downstairs, or to the smell of Lindsey's coffee.
It was by chance that I came to Queen's, and also by chance that I met you guys. It has been a pleasure to be friends with all of you, and you have all added something extremely valuable to my time here in Kingston, may it be teaching me how to be a responsible housemate (e.g. reminding me to take out the trash or some other shit -.-), attending classes together, or by being floormates.
Please take care of yourselves, and of each other, and most importantly - please try to stay in touch. It takes two to do so! :)
And, if for some reason I do choose to come back to Queen's next fall, re-read this LJ entry in Spring 07.
