This incident is so ridiculous that I have to share it with you all right now although I'm at work.
One of the people from one of the buying missions I was in charge of for one of the shows sent me an email bitching about one of the receptionists at our VIP lounge. Apparently, he was denied entry to the VIP lounge by one of our receptionists because he didn't have the invitation with him. He was so insulted by this incident that he...
"did not complete seeing the entire show since [I] he was so insulted, and [I] he left early thanks to the behavior by [yourself] the receptionist. [I] He also left HK one day earlier and checked out of the hotel early... this helped to focus on business in other parts of the world, where people know how to behave with a customer and buyer."
My colleagues and I just checked the VIP lists. His name wasn't even on it.
