Fashion Week
I cannot believe that it's only been a week cuz I feel like I've been working forever... and nowadays my friends keep asking why I didn't go into Commerce... my answer remains the same, and it's a simple one.. you do not need to be in Finance/Commerce to learn how to "do business". In fact, what you can learn in Finance, you can pretty much learn by working... and doing some extra reading and taking some courses... I think that it is much more beneficial to study something that you are genuinely interested in, and for me, that is anything that is NOT related to numbers or science..
Now that the SSS is over,it's time for Fashion Week..
People from my team member told me that Fashion Week is a "small" event.... but we had 770 exhibitors and 15,093 buyers at last year's FW?????? How is that small?
It starts tomorrow...I believe that I will be deployed in the Dragon Lounge again..but this time, I will also be supervising some ppl at the Hotel Sponsorship counter.. I am kinda nervous about that, hope I don't screw up.. X_X...
Oh and by the way...I got asked if I would like to work for them after I graduate from Queen's.. so there we go... my first post-grad "real" job offer ... ^^ i guess i will not be a bum afterall.. even if i don't get into grad school... ^__^
