I get off on Halloweenie.

Could it be it's been nearly two months since my last blogizzle!??

It has! Honestly.... you got me to shut up for two whole months. But really, I give the credit to myself. But for those of you who kept me so busy... I must share the credit with you. You know who you are.... and I want to thank you for making sure my daily planner looked like it might have belonged to someone of great importance (if I even had a daily planner.... which I do..... which I don't use... *points to head*.... it's all in here, my friends.... all in here).

So what happened, you ask? Well...click >*HERE*< to check out the montage of some of the good times had by all in the past month. This montage includes:

* The 60's Project to see Miss Angela rock it out like always. Taryn attempts to climb a one dimentional staircase and I make friends with the ice boy and get a picture with him. Ice Boys need to feel important to. And then I gave him my number and we totally did it behind the mini bar after the show.

*Dr. "JT Love" Taylor's Martini Party. Chocolate fondue fountain. No words.

*The birthday party I went to who's invitation said to "dress to undress" and I show up in my Debra Messing wig, tarty dress and sunglasses and I arrive to find that everyone is dressed to go to the teddy bear's picnic. Ok... in all fairness there were a few who arrived later who were dressed to impress rather than undress.... but come on.... instructions are very important, people. Next time ask yourself "W.W.B.D.?" and dress like a classy whore. (You like how I consider a Debra Messig wig in the category of tarty?)

* If you come over to see me, I WILL dress you up. I'll put wigs on and take pictures because I live for lame thigns like that. Protest as you will as I'm doing it, but I will do it. Tom Bentley and Jen Drummond made an awesome rock star and supermodel girlfriend. All that was missing was me wearing a t-shirt saying "I'm With The Band".

If you view my montage in the next 10 minutes... I'll leave you a voice message singing LocoMan. Whether that persuades you to view it or completely ignore is your prerogative. But I just want to put it out there that I'm a master at trilling my R's and I'm a natural born tenor..... so, you know, make of it what you will...

"Sucky, sucky, three dollah."

SHE: "And dahling, that's why I demand my clothes be made only by orphans in Rwanda. They take their time because they HAVE the time and know a good weave when they see one."

HE: "I couldn't agree more....Cheers!"

(*clink*)

"This is a story of a lovely lady..."

So The Foreigner ended last weekend. I have to say, this show's rehearsal process ran incredibly smooth. Piece of cake. It was right up my alley acting-wise and most of the cast are more character actors anyway so it just ran super smooth. We had such great talent in the show. I loved watching everyone. The show was a hit. People were rolling in the aisles. No kidding... there were actually some people who laughed their way to the floor. Standing ovations every night. It was alot of fun. I have to say... I'm having withdrawals. However, I'm proud that the things the people like the most about Betty was the little things I added that weren't scripted. It feels good when something that's yours gets a laugh. So I'm super pleased with how it ended. I'm forever grateful Dr. Taylor cast me. 'Cause uh....montages are nothing without Tom Jones in the background.

In other news:

*Taking over the role of Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream for the talented Kevin Killavey. It's unfortunate because he would have rocked doing it so I feel a little odd taking it over but I also think it'll be some fun. It's a great role to be handed. But I keep thinking, "God, Kevin would do this so much better." But ah well. Shit happens.

* I scheduled a consultation with a new plastic surgeon. November 8th I 'consult' with him. I feel good about this doctor. I'm very excited and pray I'm able to take out a loan so I can get it done in January.

* Jen Drummond made me an awesome t-shirt during The Foreinger that has a quote on it from me during one of my tired fits in the theater lounge that says: Character Actors Have Feelings Too. She even used my favorite colors. I love it. I love Jen Drummond. I love her for taking the time to make it. If I'm home, it's on me. No lies.

* Saw Cirque Du Soliel's Corteo in Boston. As usual when I see a Cirque show, I leave wanting to work out more, go to clown college, learn how to be a contortionist and learn how to step up my hula hooping. I also feel like some people are super-human and the people who get in Cirque Du Soleil are the type of people Marvel Comics base their characters on. I also usually leave wanting to sleep with one of the Russian acrobats, as well. But I mean, really. Who doesn't?

* Had Funny Girl auditions. Could have gone much better considering construction was going around in the theater as we were auditioning. I was DEFINITELY the only "actor" who auditioned among a group of talented singers. I performed His Love Makes Me Beautful complete with surprise pregnant belly and wedding veil ala:

None of  the other girls I saw really looked the part but they had amazing pipes. I was the only one who did something funny and it made me rethink my decision to do that. But..... I was called back. My hope is I'll stand out at the cold reading auditions enough so that they'll have me sing again so I can prove myself worthy. However, I left with a bad feeling like I don't have a chance. But I'm still going to give it my best. I just have a feeling they'll cast more on pipes than on the ability to be funny... which is a shame considering the part but also understandable since the part has become more famous for the singing than the comedianne factor. Call backs were suppose to be last Wed however they extended auditions to this Monday and are having call backs next Sunday (that's right, TWO weeks after the original auditions which makes you wonder how the hell they even remember you....but that's neither here nor there).

* I'm doing a fun little radio show on the side called Mounted Command. It's a comedy about a fictionalized version of the life of William Henry Harrison. We do an episode a month (I believe). I do the voice of Gladys McHenry, William's good friend. After listening to it, I definitely learned my lesson on how to record my voice better. So I'm hoping next time is better. (But I do some damn good humming in it!! haha) To listen to it, click below:

Mounted Command: Episode One

Ok guys.... and lastly: What I'm being for the lovely holiday season which is Halloween.

*Jimmy's party (in which we all have gotten hooked on Reefer Madness and have now decided to be the character from):

Mae Coleman (hooked on pot and abused by her boyfriend/dealer)

*Party of RICsters (I had to go queer theater for this... I just had to. Judge me. Go ahead. Do it.):

Grizabella the Glamour Cat

*And Liz and I may be having an Old Hollywood themed party in which I'll be Audrey Hepburn circa Breakfast at Tiffany's (All I need is the hat.... any suggestions anyone???? Anyone???!):

I'm out, folks.
