Challenge Eleven
Voting for Challenge Ten is still open but we need a couple more votes before I can close it. I'm posting Challenge Eleven now, so you can start working on your entries, but please only post them here once the results for Challenge Nine are up (hopefully later today).

If your name is listed in this post you are eligible and expected to enter.
Rules:
+ You can only enter one icon for each part of the challenge. If you change your mind about your icon later, you are allowed to change it and submit a new one, but just remember to delete your original comment (or edit it if you have a paid account) and, of course, submit the new icon before the deadline.
+ You must use the image(s) provided.
+ You are allowed to blend images together.
+ Animated icons are not allowed.
+ You are allowed to use text, textures, stock images, gradients, brushes, etc on your entry.
+ The icon must fit lj standards; PNG, JPEG, 100x100 maximum, etc.
+ You must not use/post your icon anywhere else until the results have been posted.
If you are unable to enter I will use one of your skips, if you have any remaining ( click here to see if you have any left).
This challenge is a little more complicated than the previous ones, but since we're whittling down the numbers I think that's appropriate. I hope I've explained it clearly enough.
This week the challenge is divided into two parts, and you have to make one icon for each part, i.e. 2 icons in total
part one: make one icon using the following images.
part two: make one icon using the following images.
added stipulation: at least one of the icons must demonstrate blending i.e. in either your icon for part one or part two you have to use at least two images. If you wish to blend for both icons that's fine, but you must do so for at least one.
