I like 3 for the sharpness of the image
2 for the colouring, even though I really don't care for the upside-downess
#4 - I like the position of the font and its colour
2 Really great idea. Just by merely flipping the picture (along with some nice colouring) you can make a really interesting and unique icon.
3 I like the center crop for this particular picture, nice strong colouring and interesting light texture.
