Where's the soul, sistahs?

So uhm, anyone else feel like we're having a bad case of split personalities on Glee? I still enjoy the show but I fear fandom is looking a LOT more intriguing than canon lately. The Special Education ep went a bit overboard in constrasting the humourless, conformist Warblers (except when they perform!) vs the individual, dramatic chaos of New Directions. They could've toned down some scenes like the somewhat OOC Blaine/Kurt post-audition chat and too!obvious bird-in-a-cage analogy (although @freePavarotti has become a Twitter fave lately :)

Less is more, guys. We get it. At least this scene = perfect on talent + subtext. A penny for their thoughts, eh? Kudos for Lea and Chris' solos and Darren's facial expressions!

Ignoring the tiny fact that acapella and show choirs shouldn't even share the same contest category, letting New Directions and The Warblers BOTH go to regionals = awesome cop out. Everyone gets more Dalton boys in action with the Beelzebubs' vocals and arrangements ... and Kurt's (eventual) solo with the boys! Until TPTB unmask their master plan for Kurt and the *real* Blaine in what's affectionally being known as gay!Hogwarts, feast your eyes and ears on the adorkableness below.
