Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope everyone has a wonderful day - we're having our actual Thanksgiving meal tomorrow since Jim has duty today... Turned on the Macy's Parade and the kids are actually pretty keen on watching it - that's one memory I have of Thanksgivings back as far as I can remember, my brother and I would wake up and watch the parade while mom was busy in the kitchen...
I'm going to go make some hot chocolate or chai tea - yum...
Update on the fence: we have to submit 2 estimates for fixing the fence to their insurance company and then they'll cut us a check - so we're actually going to put the fix it money towards a new fence - we're still going to have to pay about $1,000 but it's better than paying $1,700... I hate the front yard because everyone and their brother can see our house - whether they be walking by or driving by and we've wanted to get a new fence anyways so I guess everything happens for a reason, right? Anyways soon we'll have a 6 ft cedar privacy fence & gate in the front - SO excited about that! Maybe Tux will calm down abit since he won't be able to see people walking by - lol. One can hope anyways.
I'm thankful for the love of my life, my kids, my family, my friends, a place to live, food to eat and all the blessings that I take for granted. I'm also grateful for my new career venture and my new lease on life! ;)
