GOODNESS. I do not know what to do with myself now that my help_haiti fic is done! :D There was rejoicing throughout the land. I feel like an enooormous weight has been lifted from me. Just in time for me to start freaking out about how I have NO IDEA what I'm going to do for spn_j2_bigbang T_T Any suggestions?
In other news, AHAHAHA OH GOD POOR JENSEN ACKLES. Your life is so hard. amissio sent this to me and I squealed in horrified delight. I cannot even. I mean hey, at least they made SOME of their own manips, and didn't just steal them all off the internet pre-made??
Speaking of Jensen, I watched Batman: Under the Red Hood for the first time the other night. OHHH JASON TODD, ILU. ALWAYS HAVE, ALWAYS WILL. ILU EVEN MORE WHEN YOU ARE JENSEN, THOUGH. Delicious gayface-ness all around. Has anyone else seen it? What did you think? 8->
Now that I don't have a fic hanging over my head and blindfold_spn is wrapped (I WROTE SOMETHING HAHAHA but I don't think I'll claim it. We'll see.), I have been plunging headfirst into fic reading! I was rolling giddily in Sam/Dean love the other day, screaming like a crazy fool at lazy_daze about how amazing they are and how lucky WE are to have them and SPN and everything. It was shameful, I tell you. But so I have read some awesome stuff lately which I realise I have come to quite late in the game for reccing, but it can't hurt, right?
The Thirteenth Door, by britomart_is. A lush, twisted fairytale of a Sam/Dean fic about Sam and his itch. This is what I wish I could do with words, people. As I said in my comment, I find it deliriously gorgeous. Also I CRIED. T_T But in a good way.
Lead Us On, by philalethia. A Sam/Dean fic about how when Sam gets his soul back, things aren't as easy as Dean thought it would be. God, this is SO SATISFYING. This is the exact kind of fic I was looking for to keep me sated until the new episode. Spot-on characterisations, including the most amazing Sam-though-Dean's-POV *__*! I also always love it when there are incesty sex dreams, for some reason; that's just a good trope that makes me wriggle. Great, canon-y feel and just general amazingness.
The Elko Country Adventure, by candle_beck. Hahaha like I even need to rec this. I was honestly wary at first that 40,000+ words of Tremors crossover was going to be too long, but it wasn't at ALL. I was completely enthralled and I loved all the minor (well, non-Sam-or-Dean) characters and their relationships and how rich the whole world of this one little town was. And then the Sam/Dean gloriousness running through every moment, thrown into sharp relief with these WALLOPS of emotional climax and shivery awesomeness :D :D :D So great. Totally worth staying up way too late last night for.
:D Two thumbs very much up. These ladies have reinvigorated me. I am about to PEE MYSELF for Friday.

They were cheap on Ebay. :D HOW PERFECT, RIGHT? FOR VALENTINE'S? Nothing sexier than some strategic blood spatter. Dexter can confirm. Although they may get coated in real blood when I inevitably faceplant in them. I am no good in heels at all.
And now I am going to go watch the new Pretty Little Liars. <3_<3!
