Man I don't want to go to that hospital. I think Jared should've went off on them. No body puts baby, I mean Jensen, in the corner, I mean in the waiting area. Bad hospital for putting a trauma patient in the waiting room. Bad Bad medicine they practice....off with their heads.

Haha, yeah, it sucks, but that's actually pretty normal for busy emergency rooms! People with broken bones often have to wait for patients with more serious problems to get treated first, like babies with fevers or people with like. Brain bleeds or whatever.

Poor Jensen! At least he had Jared to get him a room. <333!

Actually I've worked in many Busy ER/Trauma centers and still do as a nurse and anyone that came in by ambulance with an IV/having passed out/and obvious unstable fracture stayed in the ED and was seen as trauma patient. But lovely thing about fanfiction we can bend the rules, as I'm sure some other Emergency Rooms might have been bad and have done the same. I hate the days when all the rooms are busy and the halls are full of carts with patients on them.......and you wish you could be like X-Men and split yourself in 2 to 20 different bodies that could function independently.........

Huh! That's interesting! I'm a pre-med student and shadow an ER doctor, actually, and we've sadly had to make people with broken bones wait in the waiting room a LOT. I didn't even know that wasn't common practice!

In this fic, Jensen actually wasn't USING the IV bag; it was just in the ambulance in case it was needed. He also didn't actually pass out, and he was wrapped up with a splint so his fracture wasn't too unstable. Maybe that's why they were content to let him fester with the other waiters...;)!

The fluorescent lights are fascinating, and if he stares at them long enough, it's totally possible they'll start communicating with him in Morse code.

I love Jensen high on painkillers. That is awesomely accurate. :)
