I finally saw The Dark Knight last night and like everyone I'm impressed to hell with Heath Ledger, but I was also surprised by it. From all the buzz, I was expecting to see a joker who was more like the homicidal maniac in The Dark Knight graphic novel, and I got that, but I was not expecting to see so much Caesar Romero in his performance. What was great is he nailed that Caesar Romero laugh, but it had a whole new undercurrent to it. It made me really want to watch him kick Adam West's ass.
BTW - I have come up with a dream project to stage in LA. Waiting for Godot with Vladimir and Estragon played by Adam West and William Shatner. It would run for years (it has already on some level).
Oh, and beware the Rick Roll. Got hit twice today.
