Urggggghhhhh
Okay couple of things about secret Muslims and the Christian Nation McCain says we are
1) It is not against the constitution of the United States to be a Muslim and it is entirely permitted for a Muslim to be President. Please, someone directly ask the candidates if they believe otherwise.
2) To McCain and others who say this is a Christian nation founded on Judeo-Christian principals. Speaking as a "Judeo-":
a) What happened to the prefix there? and
b) One of the Judeo-Christian tenets is that there is only one god and you should have no gods before him. How does that jibe with the constitution allowing freedom of religion?
It's really hard cause it's on in the gym every morning, but I think I'm going to stop watching the cable news channels and reading the yahoo/google news bites and stick with the Daily Show, Colbert, and the occasional jaunt to the Slate. The whole 24 hour news thing does not loan itself to sanity. These people have gone from being trusted journalists to drama queens. It's not a situation room, it's just a room, and a very silly one at that.
