I've finally seen the musical I've heard so much about. It was rather strange, seeing the whole thing played out that way, and at such a pace! The barricade went up and its builders down all in a few minutes. Necessity, I suppose, but odd all the same.

*petulantly, though not taking herself quite seriously, thank you* Well, they might've written me in as a reference at least, though if they couldn't even manage to get your dear head right, I shouldn't think they'd try very hard to cast me appropriately.

Yes, a reference might have done. M. Hugo was courteous enough, after all. Perhaps they despaired of capturing your loveliness in only a few lines-- for at such a pace they surely would not have been able to devote the time deserved. *and while he is teasing, it is with a sort of conviction; a joke that is quite true* As for my head, I suspect they couldn't convince a fellow of the right age to shave off his hair. I doubt I would have.

Yes. And for us, we might shoot something we aren't supposed to, 'f that were the case. And well, shotting things one isn't supposed to shoot generally never ends well. Ever.
