I'm super annoyed by Ck's ex. She's a fucking China bitch, seriously. Come to Singapore to cheat people's money.
The story goes like this:
About 2 years ago, Ck lent his ex about $2,600. $700 a month. For her to further her studies. I was pretty furious that he'd lend such a huge amount to someone whom he's supposed to have cut ties with, but his logic was: "She helped me when I had problems, I can't 见死 不 救."
So I said okay, you can help her for a couple of months more, no further. At that point in time he'd already lent her $2,100. So he lent her another $500 and when he told her the cash flow was gonna stop, she said she didn't need any more money.
For the past 2 years I've been bugging him to get the money back, cos once 5, 10 years pass, it's gonna be a fucking bitch to get it back. She can deny it/go back to China/ whatever.
Unfortunately he lost his phone, and all the contacts in the phone was gone. I was so fucking pissed when I found out. There was no other way we could contact her. And he'd already deleted all the old emails she had sent to him.
Very luckily, I randomly clicked on the SPAM folder in his email inbox one day and there was a spam from her email to him. (Meaning that he was probably still in her contact list.) So I made him go email her and chase her for the money. We agreed that she'd return $50/ month, starting from November 2008. So she made payment quite regularly until around Sept of this year. In total she paid off about $800.
And then suddenly she went MIA. No more payment, we emailed her, she didn't reply. She has a iPhone, connecting to the internet shouldn't be a problem. I know she has one cos her signature has "Sent from my iPhone". So one day we went down to her rented house, but she wasn't home. The landlady recognized Ck. And she probably told the bitch that we paid her a visit.
BECAUSE THE VERY NEXT DAY SHE REPLIED THE EMAIL.
Coincidence? After like so many emails she chooses to reply right after we paid her a visit? I don't think so. Anyway I sent a really harsh email telling her to fucking reply and let us know if she wasn't gonna transfer for the month.
Guess what she replied?
"DON'T WORRY, I WON'T RUN AWAY FOR SUCH A SMALL AMOUNT."
What, bitch? Small amount? Then why don't you bloody return the money? She hasn't replied our emails since Oct 2009. I am fucking determined to get back the money, as long as she is in Singapore. I will track her down and get back every single fucking cent.
Also, her facebook has disappeared. Lucky I saved her stupid profile picture. Here it is, in all its glory:
What I am most worried about is that she has moved away. As long as she still lives in the same house, we have a hold over her.
I am not sure whether we can press charges against her, especially since she's a foreigner. Fuck man.
Any one who has ideas on how to deal with this, please comment!
Update: Fuck, now I'm worried that if we go to the authorities they'll think that Ck is a money lender. And SG has tightened laws on money lending. Double fuck.
Note: I am NOT saying that it wasn't a poor decision to lend the money. It was. But that doesn't mean that she doesn't have to return the money.
