Catching up
I returned to working in the office instead of at home on Monday, 5/4. On Tuesday morning, they told me they'd need me to move out of that office to make room for a new employee who'd need to be located as close to David's office as possible. Unfortunately, my surgeon has cleared me for walking, driving, and so on, they haven't cleared me to take stairs yet. In fact, I've specifically been told to avoid them for right now. There was only one other office (temporarily) available on the ground floor -- the one I was in for the first 5 years or so of my time with the company.
My mother was here through the morning of the 11th. I'm glad she came out and helped me by driving and cooking and all, but it feels so nice to have my own place back to myself again.
Reggie is on vacation for a while and I've been left as sort of in charge of keeping track of our interns. How fun!
Our RPG group has added a new member, named Bradley. He played last weekend. He didn't know the system or the setting, but he asked very intelligent questions. I'm having him use a pregen character who will become an NPC later on, and he'll make his own PC later on.
