Unexpected Discovery
While I was off at GenCon, the office held happy hour at a new Irish pub in town, not far from the Boll Weevil Cafe (where they have the incredible desserts). Jen suggested we go there for dinner (celebrating her new job, which starts right after Dragon*Con), and we did. I had the fish and chips, which were great. I didn't look at their drink selection at all, just asked if they have Shiner Bock, and they said they did.
Now, since I left Texas, I've found a few places here that have it, but always in bottles. It was available on tap! I officially have a new favorite local bar!
