(no subject)
I haven't thought about Zawie in a while, but last night I had a dream of him. He was sleeping by my clothes cabinet (he never slept there before, he was always beside me on the bed). In the dream I knew that he had already passed away, so I was surprised. I called for him and he approached me and jumped up on my bed.
Squall, who was asleep beside my bed (his usual spot), saw Zawie and tried to get on the bed, too, but got stuck halfway (as in real life XD). So I tucked Zawie under my right arm and half-hugged him, while stroking Squall's fur with my left. And I wondered if Zawie ever gets jealous of Squall.
When I woke up, I remembered today was Zawie's death anniversary.
Could it be my subconscious reminding me, or can our dead really still exist elsewhere, able to reach out to us when they want to?
