Similar to the ads for the fundamentalist, charismatic 'His People' and 'Rhema' churches here which plug into the 'what do you want?' and 'where do you wanna go?' questions. "Real" religion would focus on the rather less popular 'what does G-d want for you' and 'where does G-d want you to go'? Religion is not self help. Yes, G-d's will for you is ultimately what your innermost self wants too (love, growth, interdependence etc) but at any point in time one's surface wants may not correspond with such lofty long-term desires.
