So, frisbee practice today was excellent. 2.5 hours of drills and scrimmaging, and the team seems to have loosened up a bit, they're a bit more welcoming than they used to be. Either that, or the fact that I know all the old players and that Saylor and Meyers are both Fairport (Katie actually seems to have relaxed a bit, too - no where near as frosty as she was freshman year), and that I'm a senior has basically made me part of the team, even though I was on an 18 month hiatus as classes kicked my ass.
Its also nice to feel caught up on reading and not overwhelmed by classwork. I have time to do HW, work for dad, do frisbee 4 days a week, still get some errands done, and even breathe/relax a little. I need to buckle down on personal statements and register for the GRE, but other than that, this is looking pretty good. Once I hit the end of september, I should really have some nice breathing room. I might even be able to fit in a tournament, and maybe a road trip or two (definitely New Paltz for Halloween or Halloween weekend, Probably CMU for Dan's show in Decemeber, maybe even Cornell for a weekend).
I'm going to the Shaw Festival w/ PBK this Sunday - student discounts, and the school is covering dinner and partial ticket costs. We're seeing the Crucilble, which was our 2nd choice, but that's ok. It's probably better staged than on paper anyway - most plays are.
Other than that, I think I'll just go to bed. I need to focus on personal statements and finalizing recommendations from Tomorrow through Sunday.
Gnight, all.
