"Didn't we always have that midnight pancake thing?" Lore asked Addy.

After a moment, Addy remembered what Lore was talking about. "Oh, yeah. A midnight breakfast. It was our way of starting the festival."

"They both sound like fun!" Rinoa exclaimed. "How long is the festival?"

Selphie scribbled the ideas down. She hadn't thought about how useful it could be, combining Irvine's experiences from Galbadia with hers from Trabia, and mixing in Balamb's usual events.

"All weekend," she replied. "Friday to Sunday, the beginning of May."

"I know!" Lore announced. "A bonfire!"

Selphie stared at Lore. Finally she proclaimed "Lore...you are a GENIUS. A GENIUS! A bonfire is an awesome idea." The idea of lighting anything on fire really impressed Selphie.

"I was just thinking.." Addy began quietly. "It's just an idea, but maybe..maybe this year, we could set the festival up as a fundraiser for Trabia Garden?" Addy suggested a little hesitantly.

"That's a good idea," Rinoa said thoughtfully, looking toward Selphie. Could they do that? Did the Festival work that way?

Selphie blinked at Addy, then squealed excitedly. "Sorry, Lore, I take it back. SHE'S the genius. That's a fabulous idea, Addy!" She had tried not to show it, but she had been worried about Trabia Garden ever since the missile strike. She wasn't sure how she could help, but this..this could be perfect. A Garden Festival fundraiser to help Trabia? It was right up her alley!

Irvine gave Addy a charming smile. "Smart, and beautiful," he said flirtatiously.

Lore patted Addy's arm. "See, it's a good thing I brought you!"

"What about a talent show or something like that?" Rinoa offered. "Do you think anyone would participate?"

Addy blushed at Irvine's comment, and looked down at the table. "That might be fun," she agreed, still speaking to the table.

"We could give it a try," Irvine said. "So like, if we think about it for now and ask some people, we can see if it's do-able." Irvine thought for a minute about any hidden, or not so hidden, talents anyone he knew might have. He didn't think charming pretty girls was talent show material. "I got a good one," he said with a grin. "A shooting gallery. No, wait," he reconsidered. "Laser tag. Same thing, but better."
