(no subject)
I can't believe how time slips away from me. I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving...whatever it is you decided to do. As for us, we headed to my mom's at around noon and had a traditional dinner with my mom and step-dad, grandparents, my older brother, his wife and their daughter, and my step-sister. This was the first one without my younger brother and his wife but they're currently vacationing in Colorado so I hope they had a happy day too. After dinner we came home and I took a much appreciated nap with my dog Bijou by my side. After that we put up the Christmas tree, I helped Rachel with a little homework (that never stops even for a holiday), and did a little scrapbooking.
Saturday I'm cooking a turkey dinner here at home and having David's parents over. At least then I'll have some leftovers to munch on. That's the only bad part about going to someone else's for dinner....they get to keep the excess food! :)
Ah well, I have so much to be thankful for aside from the usual roof over my head, etc. I'm thankful that I have a beautiful family to love and a steady income to support them. I'm thankful for the furry little dogs keeping my feet warm and this computer to share my thoughts on.
