Tomorrow is the big day- the kids' last day of school and their graduation ceremonies. After that, Nicolle will be moving on to high school (ACK!) and Rachel will be a middle school student. I better take lots of kleenex with me, and a camera. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone by. I'm not ready for this yet!
Tonight we let Buddy in the fenced yard to play with Biscuit for the first time. We thought we'd start them off gradually so we left Bijou inside. She tends to be the more possessive one and probably wouldn't take too kindly to having a new dog in her yard. Biscuit was in pure heaven. She ran all over the yard and tried to get him to play. He ran with her for a while, but it was a short lived romance. He checked out the end of the yard and then ran back to us. I think Buddy likes people better than other dogs, but Biscuit was convinced they were meant to be friends. When he wouldn't play, she kept looking at us like, "Will you make him play with me???" She had a really puzzled look about her. Maybe tomorrow night we'll try to add Bijou to the mix and see what happens.
Today Nicolle was gone all day to a Cardinal's baseball game. She said it was windy, and the Cardinals won by two points, but I think they barely watched the game. She went with a busload of kids- her two best friends included- and I think they spent most of the day walking around and eating snacks. It doesn't matter, just so long as they had fun.
