There is a scene at the very beginning of the movie that shows hindu extremists dressed in yellow. There are no explicit riot scenes to act as transition, something you would be forgiven to have expected from a Karan Johar film. But this is Karan Johar, with a difference. Aha. I know, so was KANK.
