I know, it's been awhile since I last posted. But I've been pretty damn busy... so yeah x_x Anywayz... guess what? ^______^ We had the awards ceremony this past Thursday... I got like... 5 awards.
1. Acedemic Performance in Government
2. Acedemic Performance in Science
3. Acedemic Performance in English
4. Student Leadership
5. Expensive as hell college dictionary that gives the most popular definitions first, lessons on how to avoide misusing words and grammer, and all that good stuff. Because I'm a writer. *sniffle*
Oi, I got the best speeches from my teachers. ;-; Made me blush hotter than Hell. Lol. Ms. Wolosky, my Government teacher, spoke about how every once in awhile, teachers get really terrific students with so much knowledge and passion and such, and how they really shine in their brilliance. Then she said my name, and I was like "O_O" Lmfao. "This is why we keep teaching" she said. God I was so embarrassed XD She said more awesome stuff, but I forget ;-; I'll have to watch the video so I can brag some more XP
My Science teacher, Mr. Paris, surprised the hell outta me. He doesn't even give awards, let alone like many of his students. He makes it known, too. He only gave out one award, and that was to me. O_O He said something about my being his smartest and greatest student he's had in his 14 years of teaching, and I was like "Oh shit O_O" And then he said something else about how it's one thing to help yourself, but I go out of my way to help other students on their way to success when I offer my time and patience to help them understand things they didn't get otherwise. Which I guess is true, considering I've done a lot of tutoring and such. And not because I had to, it was because I wanted to help. I even come to school early to help them with their Regents review. For those of you who don't know, the Regents is a 3 hours long city wide exam students have to pass if they wanna graduate.
Anyways, my fingers hurt now... lol More later. <3
